We The People, Inc. of the United States (WTP) is a charitable non-profit corporation organized in 1987 and dedicated to educating the public about risks associated with nuclear power, including the use of less dangerous and more cost effective alternative energy sources. Founded in Massachusetts during 1987, WTP has been actively involved in numerous efforts to expose the truth about public health and safety issues including the adequacy of industry oversight by the U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission. WTP has been approved by the United States Internal Revenue Service to accept tax exempt charitable contributions as an IRS 501(c) (3) organization since 1988.

WTP also assists others involved in charitable and educational efforts consistent with the public welfare by making donations to other organizations or individuals approved by the WTP Board of Directors.
